I'm OK with the whisky James, vodka is definitely not my tipple ๐คข
Cheers!
Would have had you down for this Dan. I like a whisky also, no preference from Aldi's own to single malt. Just ice for me. Watch looks pretty cool. Can't get used to the term hump day !
Or maybe this..

Brilliant! I've had my fair share of tots of rum in the past - but that is work. Whisky is more for pleasure ๐

I think I'll try that over Christmas. We have some Amaretto in the booze cupboard too!

I have a fair few whisky cocktail recipes but that's easy peasy and rather tasty. When I worked in USA many years ago whisky sour was my tipple. I can drink almost anything and stay standing but Newcastle Brown makes me howl at the moon!
Brothers
I thought I noticed some sort of whisky thing on Friday nights! I'll be sure to raise a glass on Friday and add to the post! I'll also look out for your unveil. Cheers ๐ฅ

So Newcastle Brown is your GADA choice of tipple now then?? ๐คช
Indeed, the mystery still exists somewhat. I first tried it (in Edinburgh) in around 2014 I think. All I know is that is must be from Islay, and there aren't many distilleries there, so could be something Lagavulin, Ardbeg or Laphroaig are pushing out as a side project under Iain MacLeod distilleries. I like the mystery of it all though... and the level of smokiness!!
@DanTheo82 @J4me5ie Newkie Brown my kryptonite! I love it (if ICE cold) but it sends me doo lally. Last time I had some I had a fight with an Xmas tree because "it was looking at me funny".
I do like a Laphroaig but I think its 50/50 love hate thing with my friends.

@weedge @J4me5ie ...
Here is the only bottle of Newkie Brown I've got in the house:
A commemorative bottle for HMS Newcastle's 25th birthday when I was serving on her from 2002 to 2004. Never opened, and it has bits floating in it now! ๐คข. Oh, and it's certainly not ice cold ๐
Now that's a combo ๐๐ผ
I do like this B&W scuba dude ๐

Whisky ans watches are always a great combo ๐
I like a Scuba Dude. And a Honda for that matter. Have a 2007 Civic Type S as my little commuter.
Sheep Mullet? ๐ sounds pretty lethal at 9% too!

That's a plain Jane 2002 Civic, single cam, 1.7 liter, and sadly an automatic transmission. Its the gramma model. That's why when I got it it was still in good shape. ๐ Our Civic was a sedan. We didn't get the little two door hatch Civic you got. Its dull but reliable!

Honda is reliable and that is why I got mine. I just happened to stumble across a good deal on a Type S when I was looking for a reliable work car (and one that conforms to the recently introduced emission zones in and around London).

Still would have preferred a hatchback. In the US this four door family sedan is considered a compact car.

Love the car, Scotty loves them on YouTube.
Beautiful dial. I really need to get a vostok, just can't seem to find the right one. Although the one you have looks really nice.

Thanks. I was the same and then saw this one and picked up for ยฃ60GBP. I did really hunt around, I just waited until I stumbled upon one I really liked.
