DIY and Namoki are the leaders in their respective fields, and they have been gracious enough to play along with my little challenge. The purpose of this video is to compare what the two top companies offer in comparison on a simple pilot-style watch kit. While the tools provided are amazing, they are not the only components I will be comparing.

Thanks again for sharing. It's a shame about the ghost date position. Do DIY watch club give you a choice of movement to get a date free one? If not is that them being cheap or wanting to allow future mods to just change the dial to one with a date hole without having to buy a new movement as well?
I saw the giveaway video after Traps live stream. Going back to check videos 1 and 2. My phone is old so for some reason commenting on YouTube is glitchy for me.
Most of the videos about DIYWC on YouTube show what seem to be the Advanced kit + tools. Are there any unboxing/experience videos of the 'standard' kit?
