Sentimental Watches

There was a post earlier about “sentimental watches”.  Watches with which the owner had an emotional connection.  One or more that may be priceless to you.  This is mine.  A $30.00 Quartz Mickey Mouse watch I bought in Disneyland seven years ago.  Why did I purchase this watch instead of a more expensive option?  Because my then five year old daughter picked it out for me because, “Dada likes watches”.  I can still remember her handing it to me.  It has been through six batteries, two straps and remains in my regular rotation.

I believe strongly that the story or background is as important and sometimes more important that the watch itself. The fact your daughter picked it out is priceless. That memory lasts.

These Mickey watches are great. I would love to own an Ingersol one.

This is allegedly a Lorus.  It has no branding other than the Disney branding.
