Seagull 1963 is a mess!!!

Hey, I was looking to buy a Seagull 1963, apparently, every watch reviewer bought it form AliExpress. The problem is that there are plenty of sites that sell the Seagull 1963 at very different prices. Where can I buy it from?

Welcome to China. Everything is a freakin mess. Lol

Also I think there's more than one factory making it. Honestly I'd get a Japanese watch. They care about quality and have good business practices.

For example Citizen gives you better value and features and reliability and shock resistance.

Thanks, I' ve just saw it and still there are lots of dealers on Ali Express that change time from time. Including the Sugges models. Today JOMW has uploaded a video on the Seagull 1963. In the description he has put a link. I think I will but it from the link, It's the only "reliable" way I find.

A friend of mine got this watch from some of the sellers at Aliexpress. Watch stopped working in a few days. He is also a watch lover, so he tried to bring back it to life but it didn't work. He wanted a refund, and seller offered to ship the watch back to the China and they will send a new one. In process, he had lost communication. They never answer him anymore. So they literally robbed him.

If you are not really into the Chinese movements and heritage, stay away from them.

Suggest a good citizen watch.

It all depends on your preference of style and size. Lots of solar powered and titanium options. Or automatic if that's your flavor.

I really like the big overkill pilot watches. Especially in titanium for weight and comfort.

But more casual ones are nice too. This one is titanium too.

Here's my current one which is a bit more vintagey in style. Only $125 to $150. Plus 5 for the expanding bracelet which is very comfy if sized so it's loose and not tight at all.

Casio is just as tough and reliable as Citizen and even though they have a ton of ugly watches they also make a few gems.

For 160 bucks you get titanium (ultra light and comfy on the skin), solar, sapphire, radio controlled, excellent sizing and ultra wide/flat back for comfort. And digital timers and alarms which are super useful. It even has a great orange LED light which isn't as harsh on the eyes as many other options. styled like a solder/field watch but there's also a dressy version without the numbers.

And the gbd200 is a great sporty option. Pretty big but that's part of the fun. And loaded with features.
