GShock starter

Okay, I'm a Seiko fanboy. But I'm intrigued by GShock.

But there are soooo many options. So I'm looking for suggestions.

My priorities.

  1. Radio time setting.
  2. Comfortable
  3. Not too aggressive/tactical
  4. Price, $200 max

Anything else I need to look out for? I noticed people saying the LED backlight is better, is it? Is Amazon a good place to shop?

You can try the GW-M5610. Basically a square G. Very comfy on the wrist.

Or G-6900-1. Slightly on the larger side but its also comfy on the wrist. These 2 watches comes with Tough Solar as well.

I think the 2 posts above have nailed it 👍

All good picks, but as an alternative; why not start with the young upstart of the bunch, the GM-2100?

I think I need to start with the original square G. They all seem to have the same basic functions. So it's just a matter of style and materials.

I like the look of the bracelet on the GW-M5610UBC-1JF but I don't like the black display.

GAB-2100 in black without the negative screen. Amazing watch with solar and Bluetooth. All for around $150! you can mod with natos and bumpers as well. I love them!
