I’m looking for some suggestions on what would be a good colour for a replacement dial on my old Citizen.
I bought the watch the same week my wife and I got married 30 years ago so it holds sentimental value but unfortunately the movement needs to be replaced and I struggle to read the time on it now (take care of your eyes).
Anyway, when I get the movement replaced I want to change the dial and hands as well and I’m not sure what would be the best combo.
All suggestions welcomed.
Thanks

You’ve got the case and bracelet to make a great looking “president” champagne dial, day/date, Mercedes or cathedral hands if that’s your cup of tea.
There is a lighter blue than this one that I've seen on Citizens that I always liked. I would go sword hands for readability.
Congratulations on 30 years together!

Thanks, I don’t know how she put up with me this long 🤣
You could do the iconic day date dial with black, white, champagne or what-not.

38 this year for us. I definitely won in the wife department😉

I was thinking of black to start with but I have a lot of black dials in my collection already. Not sure about day/date at the moment but definitely an option.
My 2 cents: Keep it original!
