Interesting design of parts packets.
I have been collecting these different little envelopes that parts come in for a while now. Most of them are from crystals, two of them are from mainsprings.
It really intrigues me that they use such unique designs and fonts on the packets when the only people who would ever see them would be the watchmakers and the parts suppliers. Just to think that it was someone's job to design the graphics for something that so few people would see or even appreciate. Most of the time they just get tossed out when the part is used.
The ones I have here range probably from the 50s to the present. As sometimes parts come in the same packets with the old designs.
