BB58?

·

The BB58 wears very small on me, so at 37mm this one is right out.

I'm a big fan of this, and I typically prefer watches in the 39mm-42mm range. I love the no-date, different bezel and crown design. And of course the direct lineage to a very cool Bond watch. Hodinkee reported the lug-to-lug is 46mm, so it should still have some wrist presence, plus the 20mm lug width gives it a fuller appearance than if they would have opted for 18mm. The one thing that looks a tad bit off to my eye is how they designed the taper of the bracelet. The end links are 20mm, but then there's quite a drastic taper that begins between the end link and next link. But that's a nitpick, and probably something that you wouldn't even notice on wrist.

I have to laugh at some of the comments on social media - guys needing to prove they're "manly men" with "manly wrists" by calling this a ladies or kids watch 🙄😂 Sure, this is probably a no-go for very large wrists, but I suspect the majority of the population could pull off this size for sure.

RIP short term savings…in line already at AD. The list is long I’m told.

Absolutely a homage that Tudor will never confess to. Absolute 🎯

My name is down 🤦‍♂😂

That's like the design of a Rolex datejust 36. The 20mm lug width on a relatively small watch make it wear bigger than dimensions on paper. Most other watch would have an 18 or even 17 lug width on that size.

The smaller ratio case to bracelet trick your eyes and the heavier bracelet tricks you too into feeling like a bigger watch.

It is almost like a cushion case or even a square one more than a round case watch. That's part of the magic of an oyster case design.

Big fan. I keep a side-by-side of this image and a Rolex Sub no date in my photos. The aesthetic difference in my view isn’t worth $5,000! I have a Tudor Black Bay Bronze Boutique Edition that I absolutely love. At 39mm, it fits perfectly and the soft bronze glows like a soft gold tone.
