Thanks! Can't wait to get it under some sunshine. Sadly it's overcast today.

Thanks Spike!

Do tell!!

What’s the dial like in person? The texture? My 017 quite different IRL vs. Pics so I bet this is similar

Beautiful watch, I this recently at my AD, very tempting. How are you liking that dial?

Stunning!

The dial is fabulous and, of course, the case and hands are spectacular.

As in all things polite, if you can't say something good it's best not to say anything, so I will refrain from commenting on the bracelet.

Alan it is luscious in person. The dial texture is mesmerizing.

Of course, it loves bright light and just shimmers. The gold accents on the red are truly beautiful.

No regret with adding this one to the collection.

As an owner of 3 GS, heard that!

My GS bracelets fit like perfection, (and look amazing 🤩). maybe my weirdly small wrist is somehow ideal

🤷‍♂

My Winter does have a great bracelet. Skyflake is on a very comfortable strap and my 9f GMT is usually, but not always a good fit.

Let me clarify...it's not about the fit of the bracelet...

It's the lilliputian cheap screws and asinine design of the screwed in links that I object to...

I suppose if I had slender delicate fingers and perfect eyesight, then adjusting the bracelet would have been easier...

However, with my large hands, large fingers, and aging eyesight...it took me 45 minutes to remove one link and I lost one of those tiny little screws in the process.

Now, keep in mind that I have sized more than 500 bracelets with all kinds of different formats...this has to be one of the dumbest designs I've seen...and on a watch that cost $6k...truly shocking to me.

Mel my friend!

I fully trust you when you say it’s a poor design - you are 100% the guy to ask about good and bad bracelets, and probably anything else related to watches!

(Aside: I go back and forth on you and @JaeBust on who wears the crown 👑😜)

My happy experiences with my GS watches (I only have 2) are probably a combo of :

  1. A paucity of watches to compare with (about 10 in total)

  2. apparently being pretty good with tough bracelets? I’ve never really had one I found very difficult (among GS, Seiko Prospex, Seiko basic, Rado, Seiko Alpinist, Oris)

  3. Pin and collar and fiddley screws seem fine for me, a little tricky, but not hard.

But - Its quite possible I’ll join the chorus who rails against GS bracelets as I slowly add some more variety to my collection!. So glad I need more watches to compare with 😁

I'm pretty sure @JaeBust keeps the crown.

I'm more like the Court Jester 😉
