3rd NWA - 2024
Finally I got one of my dream watches. I first saw it about 25 years back. On a tv screen, a British Spy and handsome actor Pierce Brosnan when he took that watch from an aging Q. I was in Bombay watching James Bond and I was smitten, totally in love and resolved that I would buy that watch some day. Some day I said because the cost of that watch was more than twice the cost of the car my father owned. So you get the picture…. But today this one makes me happier than some of my more expensive, much more expensive watches. Take a look.
That 60th anniversary case back! It takes my breath away. It’s something special.
I actually went looking for the summer blue version and the sales guy handed this to me saying it’s the last one we have and hence we’re not allowed to put it on display, you can try both and then decide.
The minute I put this on - I knew it, this was mine. The satisfaction of that bracelet on the skin is something unique. The fit and finish of this piece is immaculate. Words don’t do any justice.
Special shout out to the Pendulum boutique at the central world mall at Bangkok. What awesome service and friendly sales people. And they have a beautiful selection of brands and watches. I even tried a heritage Moser on, but that’s for another day, today I have achieved a 25 year old dream. Today I am James Bond. 😉

Thank you sir. No I don’t think so. I didn’t check to be honest serve this is my 3rd omega, I have the speed master professional - the sapphire sandwich and the aqua terra, so for me this look was perfect.

Yes. Actually I could’ve bought it much earlier, but they say don’t meet your heroes too early, so I wanted to wait a bit for this, by no means my most expensive buy not even close but the sense of pride in getting this one is hard to beat since I’ve been looking at it all these years.

That's awesome! I've seen a few video on YouTube that the original Omega bracelets are all compatible with the Speedy, Seamaster and the Aqua Terra. You should try it out and post some pics if they do 🤙🏽
