My twenty-first watch
I basically jumped on the Islander Bayport (ISL-119) as soon as Marc posted the video for them. It struck me I wanted another tool watch with a black dial - and this design stuck with me enough to grab one. The specs are great, as usual - sapphire crystal, ceramic bezel, screw down crown, screwed links, etc. Islanders’ designs are getting better and better and I’m happy I sprung for this one.

It is a nice looking Islander and I was sorely tempted to get it, but I already have the HMBT and the and the dial and handset are very similar. Additionally, I already have quite a few Islanders in my collection. Just couldn't justify another one in my mind. 😢

I briefly had a 43mm Islander, but found it just a bit too big and clunky. So I've been waiting for the 40mm versions. I also jumped on one as soon as they were released. So far, it's running great.
OK, I have to admit that I have changed my mind on the Bayport. I just ordered the #ISL-120, after re-watching the video from Marc describing it. I decided there are simply too many firsts for Marc and the company on the Bayport to miss. first model in the new direction, first unique case design, first named model, and first matched date window.
On another completely unrelated topic, I have a few watches for sale. 😂

Right? I was surprised by how quickly I wanted to jump on it, but am still glad I did. Now, trying to find new straps to match. Enjoy!
Bayport had me really close to purchase.
