My thirteenth watch
This is my first expensive watch and definitely one of the pride and joys of my collection. I was certain I had to have a Sinn. They have a bunch of great models, but the 104 was giving me the same mildly obsessive vibes the SKX did, so why fight it? I opted for an h-link bracelet (quite comfortable and easy to size) and purchased through Watchbuys.com. They were very helpful and attentive the whole way through. Seriously, this watch is gorgeous. It’s surprisingly thin for an automatic. For whatever reason, Sinn tends to not show pictures of the watch showing off the slightly domed sapphire crystal, which is a shame. I didn’t even know it had one until it arrived. I was quite happy to be surprised there - the gentle curve of the crystal adds a fair amount to the watch’s character. The sunburst blue dial, black day-date dials, screw down crown (200 m water resistance in a pilot’s watch!), and the style of the markers/chapter ring…I fell in love with it. Lume’s pretty decent and I always love a display case back (sapphire, too!) The bi-directional countdown bezel is a nice first for me, but I’m afraid it’s in aluminum. Not sure as Sinn doesn’t specify that I can find. This one’s a strap monster for me, too. I’ll just post it on the original bracelet, though. If you want a nice German watch, I firmly believe you can’t go wrong with a Sinn.
I got into watches shortly before the pandemic and got bit by the bug -bad- My photos are crap, but I’m working on it!

I’m occasionally inclined to run into things. And, failing or not, I much prefer to keep stuff looking new. I’d just feel safer if it was ceramic or the like. Still looks excellent, of course!

I don't like many Sinns, but the 104 is definitely an exception.
You cannot go wrong with Sinn and Nomos, both german, both amazing.
I have tried on a 104 not long ago, great piece!
In my case, I cannot wait to add a 556i to my collection, I love it.

Congrats on picking it up. I have mine on a leather strap, but have the H-link bracelet on my Sinn 144. Sinn is one of my favorite brands, along with Rolex and Omega.

Congratulations on the fab watch. Sinn is one of those brands that folks seem to rave about when they see it in person, so I think I'm going to have to try to track one down for a try on at some point.

Congrats on the 104. Your problem now will be comparing every other watch to that level of quality. I have several brands in spite of my user name. The only thing that has come close for me is a Tudor Black Bay in terms of quality (yet more than twice the price). I'm trying not to buy more watches but the Sinn 556iRS is on my short list. Enjoy !
