Well, that's a new one.
Usually the last thing that cross my mind when I think about titanium watches is being fancy. Titanium is a dark matte grey with a hint of purple when left unpolished and the dial of the SGG731 is of a matching dark grey. But not today.
I managed to capture on camera how the bright sunshine is playing with the dial texture and the effect is like making the watch shimmer with a purple rainbow. I've never seen it do this before and this is a watch that's been with me for quite a long time.
I put it on to celebrate the return to duty of my titanium coffee cup, the old one broke but I managed to get a new and identical one.
I'm a big fan of watches that are interesting because they are either unique, have interesting features, well designed or simply offer a great value for their price.
