Got my Bulova LE Lunar Pilot!
I've been sitting on the fence for a long time with the Bulova Lunar Pilot. It was too large, it had nothing at all to do with the UG prototype that was oh so conveniently available when the official Omega broke, and then when the new version was launched I thought that the polished case was too blingy.
And it also became expensive, at least in the case of the one model that interested me. I had a lot of good reasons not to get one, but I also had one reason to get it: I wanted it.
The box included the quartz alarm clock with its desktop stand, which is quite nice even if I don't know what to do with it.
And the LE edition of the 43.5mm Lunar Pilot with the matte titanium case (yessss!) and the meteorite dial. I just pulled the stickers, the crown tab and the tag to give it a good first look and everything looks fine so far.
Now I just have to see how it looks on my wrist while I drink my morning coffee.
I'm a big fan of watches that are interesting because they are either unique, have interesting features, well designed or simply offer a great value for their price.
