If its a brand that is known to offer sales then I refuse to buy at full price,
But if its a brand that has firm prices all year round then I'm fine with that as you know your not overpaying at any point.

One edit I will make is that the watches and straps I currently have were mostly purchased prior to how I feel about brands that do not offer discounts.
Not me. I can't stand so-called Black Friday sales. It's morphed into Black November.
If I want to buy a new watch, I'll buy it if I feel it's a decent price, regardless if it's 'on sale' or not.

I have two companies' straps, which never go on sale, unless purchased off eBay.
ZuluAlpha and YMI Tactical. For my uses and wants, I don't mind paying MSRP. For me they are that good.
Crown and Buckle, Maratac, CWC, etc I'll usually hit up sales.
