Chinese 'Homage' watches from Ali

I know there are mixed opinions on these. I must admit I've just recently gotten a cpl of these, dare I say, copycat homages. Not expecting much at first, I've been pleasantly surprised. Especially with this one in particular.

Excited to open a discussion on other ppl's takes on this hot topic?!

I’ve been wanting a watch with the day at 12 forever now, how do you like this one?

And I use Ali for most of my watch modding parts (dials, cases, movements, hands) I’ve been mostly impressed so far for what I’ve paid.

I love being able to request custom logos and dial text and I don't have much taste for the originals anyway. My demons keep telling me to order a golden Day-Date with some comedic made-you-look fine print...

i have been thinking about getting this exact piece. it’s good ? i have an adiesdive hulk homage and love it ! i have a few $500/$700 seikos but honestly i think i’m done with spending that much. $100 buys a killer watch these days.

I have very few complaints about mine. Case finishing and bracelet are both average, but for the price maybe at the high end of average. The Miyota I got runs excellent. Cyclops and caseback aren't sapphire, but front crystal is (again pretty acceptable for price).

Honestly use this as a nearly daily 'beater' (even tho it's pretty) because of the price I'm not afraid to bang it up at my retail job a lil. I'd recommend!

I now have 5 in my watch box and parts for 2 self builds enroute. In order of purchase;

£67.96 Bliger Submariner NH35. Love it, everything was well finished. Did mod the face for fun/practice. Comfortable on the wrist.

£75.39 Pagani PRX Chrono lookalike quartz. Not a big fan, integrated bracelet far from great and not comfortable. Never wear it & made me realise chronographs just aren't for me.

£93.58 Specht & Sohne NH35. Integrated bracelet was awful. Managed to fit a leather Nautilus strap to it (not perfectly) and now enjoy the look and feel of the watch.

£140.16 Steeldive Turtle NH35. Very well made all round. Was too heavy on braceletas watch is very head heavy and needs a strap so it is snugger to the wrist (unless you like loose!), replaced for silicone strap and now love it.

£60.86 Tandorio Field Style NH35. Stunning & most original looking of the bunch, vintage style silver face, lovely leather strap with deployment clasp.

Lume sucks on all of them except the Steeldive, which was the most expensive. In order of personal preference when choosing what to wear: Tandorio, Steeldive, Bliger, Specht & Sohne, Pagani
