Sturhling Original?
Are Sturhling Originals any good?
I like some of their skeleton automatic watch designs but haven't seen many reviews. Thoughts?

Some models look good but the brand itself isn't looked upon favorably by the watch collecting community for the most part. Basically an inexpensive Chinese brand.
Might be a good buy for someone just starting out in the hobby who doesn't want to break the bank for their first automatic.
You can also look at Steeldive or Pagani Design which might be more reliable at a similar price.
Bottom line-buy what you like.
I am not a fan of their marketing. Similar watches can be had for less if you are willing to buy directly off AliExpress.
They won't have the same name but are largely the same watches that Sturhling has branded with their logo. And for less $$.
As long as you don't buy the brand story/hype and realize you are paying for a inexpensive Chinese watch, go for it.

Thank you my first watch given to me was a Timex expedition, and I bought a Skagen Melbye in college for interviews. I'll look into Pagani Design
If you are interested, I have on for sale pretty cheap and in mint condition.
I own a 38mm Delphi (skeleton) automatic, that I picked up (on a whim) pre-owned for $30. In excellent condition and keeps pretty decent time too. I wouldn't buy a new Sturhling, but used for little money, what the hell ... it's an interesting piece and I can see all the little inner bits moving! LOL!
I like their design/their ‘looks’ so, I just ordered one; I do hope they last.
Maybe those commenting here had bad experiences with Sturhling? Or may have heard it somewhere?
