Any restaurant industry workers here with good watches?

I work in the kitchen at my restaurant as a sous chef currently and I seem to be the only one in the hobby here. Any others in the restaurant business and wear watches? Drop a comment! Cheers!

Great watch ❤️

I worked as a dishwasher and slowly moved my way up to front of the house waiting tables. I wore an F91W the whole time.

Great watch ❤️

Thank you very much! It's the Seiko 5 SRPD95. Love all the different strap and band options I can try out with it too!

I worked as a dishwasher as a teen and made my way up to executive chef before I decided to walk away from kitchens. After a stint in another industry I came back to restaurants as the expo at a well known Michelin starred restaurant in San Francisco. I wore an Apple Watch when I was still cooking but since swapping my chef coat for a suit I’ve built up a solid collection I rotate through. I need to have something accurate to our computer system to properly track ticket times and I need something legible, and usually something that looks ok with a suit.

What’s more, if you’re going to wear a real watch at work you picked a great one. Keep your head up chef.

I'm watching Top Chef right now and contestant Buddha Lo is cooking with a Audemars Piguet Royal Oak chrono on his wrist. 😲

Awesome glad to hear my fellow Chefs are keeping the watch game strong in the kitchen! Cheers mate! I rotate through seikos, citizen watches and some other independent field watches usually if it's a holiday I'll bring out a nice one for the feels🤘⌚️👍😎

Tough choice as I love all my Seikos (all 25 of them); but, if I had to choose only one, it would be...
