Favorite daily watch

Yesterday i finally bought nice bracelet for my favorite daily watch EFV-100D. Now i am gonna wear it a lot more i am sure. Especially now in the summer when there is a lot of sunny days and i can enjoy this beautiful dial. I want my daily to be versatile, have a 100m wr, date window as i often forget the date, quarz because i like its accuracy and to be comfortable of course. Whats your daily and what do you like in it?

That's a nice looking piece! As my watch taste matures, what I found is the cleaner the dial the better. Your watch is giving me Rolex explorer vibes, and I like it!

This looks great but what is it, an oyster bracelet? In my experience the bracelets on these Casio from the factory are a bit .. meh. This however looks different?!

That said this applies where I live, UK. I saw the EFR S108D and I really liked it but the integrated bracelet wasn't great. Then I noticed in China/Asia or at least somewhere they seem to be selling an EFR S108YD with a solid bracelet and I managed to source the bracelet (at least I think that's what I bought 😅) through eBay. I just had to have it then...

Not sure if that's the case with other models though. If you know a way of getting good bracelets for Casios I'd be curious to learn more about where you get them.

I wonder why they keep selling the hollow variant if they clearly can make an affordable solid bracelet?!

Yes, when i bought it was on one of those Casio bracelets. It wasn't good. It was woth hollow links and endlinks, it was polished in the middle and its had a cheap clasp with only two micro adjusts, so i couldn't get a good fit. So the watch spend a lot of time in the watch box. I found this bracelet on AliExpress, as i searched for "20mm solid bracelets". It has also solid endlinks and very good fast micro adjust extension, which i love. I think the only explanation why Casio keep selling these really bad bracelets is to keep the price low.

Happy to hear there are at least options and even happier for you that you found a great one. It looks spot on!

It really is a shame with the Edifice line and the cost cutting. You are probably right, many people who buy these aren't hanging out in watch forums and YouTube channels so they see the pictures and the price and find out about the bracelet after they get the watch. In hinsight I'm sure many would pay the extra 40€ for a nice bracelet... it is SUCH a big difference!
