Lange launched two new models, the 1815 Rattrapante Perpetual Calendar in salmon dial limited to 100 pieces and a platinum Lange 1 Time Zone. Got to try them on and check their gorgeous movements out. They also had a few other amazing watches like the zeitwerk in platinum and WG and two Little Lange 1's in beautiful dials.
First the new ones:
The salmon color is sexy. Classy color. I have to say, I don't love the power reserve at 12, but what a crazy set of complications. Rattrapante chronograph, which means you can time two things at once. You can see two center seconds hands pointing at 5 and 7. The pusher at top left activates the 2nd seconds hand. Oh and there's also just a little perpetual calendar... Geeze.
Check out the movement. It's like a 3d little city of gears. Really amazing to see it in person.
Next is the platinum time zone. Stealthy little watch. A bit monochromatic for me, but some would appreciate how under the radar it is.
And, next to my black dial time zone
I love Lange's Zeitwerk - a digital, but mechanical watch. Why did they do it? Because they can...
Sorry, forgot to take a movement shot, which is the real draw, so here's one from the web. The anchor shaped thing is the remontoir to gather the energy from the mainspring and then it releases it in a burst, so that it can power up to three number discs instantaneously and quickly. It's a mechanical marvel.
Finally, two little Lange 1s with an aventurine dial and a white guilloché dial.

I guess the individual who can pay for any of those crazy crazy timepieces understands but for the average guy or even the way above average guy, he shakes his head without envy without comprehension. Toronto is a wealthy city but the only A Lange&Sohne that I have ever spotted was on some kid who opened a bubble tea shop probably for immigration purposes.
There are worse ways to while away an afternoon…Thanks for the pics! Very nice pieces indeed. Already commented on the 1815 in another post, but that aventurine 1 is also a real thing of beauty. So is your own timezone btw!
the last one - the Lange 1 with the aventurine dial… o. m. f. g. 🤯

Check out this little gif. The sparkling is a sight to behold. This is the small one at like 36 or 37mm but there is the saxonia copper thin blue at 40/41mm with a simple dial that shows off the aventurine more.

Thanks! I feel inadequate in front of these beautiful watches! Jk, but some of the pieces on display are so nice even if I'd never wear them.

Yes, very true. I especially like the stars instead of the diamond-y indices and they color matched the date wheel.
