I subscribe to a German language watch channel on YouTube and this brand came up. Vandaag is a 20 year old company dedicated to design and value. The watches pictured cost only
+/- €380. They use an automatic Miyota movement with sapphire front and back.
Interesting, I thought.

…not to bash them, but „dedicated to design and value“ sounds very Marketing-ish. I have no personal experiences with them, but I saw them at a design-fair recently. I couldn’t try any piece on, but they looked „ok“ for the price, but not as high quality as in the pictures.
But they have some nice designs.
Fun fact: vandaag is Dutch for today

It probably sounds more impressive in German.

I was about to mention this. I speak Afrikaans and it's the same, just with slightly different spelling; "vandag."
Never heard of them. Sounds dutch
Color matched date wheel and clever placement of screws. Don’t know about them, but this is a nice looking watch

Also German, I found out!

Heute is German for today/vandaag.
Heute is German for today/vandaag.
Oh! I must have misread something on their site. I’m terribly sorry, it was an honest, if ignorant, mistake. There was definitely something said about that word and what it meant. Thanks for correcting my error 😃👍
