What do you think of the Frédérique Constant smartwatch?

This watch intrigued me. A nice looking watch that is also a limited smartwatch.  What do you think, is it worth pursuing?

Not something I would be interested in, but it is a good looking and looks like a good compromise between watches and smartwatches for those interested in both.

Being a Frédérique Constant my concern would be that it will be selling at a huge discount by spring.  Much more stylish than a black hunk of plastic on your wrist.

So far, the only thing I want a smart watch to do is track my lack of exercise & heartbeat.

If it can do that and have the hallmarks of a traditional watch, I'd listen.

Have you tried selling a year old apple watch?  I’m pretty sure it doesn’t maintain 50% of its value.

G-Shock has started doing something similar on some models. Not quite the same as an analog, but I’m splitting the difference here.

My point is that despite Frédérique Constant making excellent watches they have always over produced the amount of demand.  They lower the prices to move the inventory and to create cash flow.  The sad thing is that they have discounted their watches so many times that no one wants to pay too much for a "Discount Brand Watch."

Sounds like a plus to me! As long as I'm buying during the huge discount
