Love! Hate!?
Do you ever find yourself glancing down at a watch and it gives you joy? Conversely, do you ever see the same watch from a different angle and have a negative reaction? I have this tug-of-war with my Spinnaker Bradner. I love the dial and bracelet, but wow, is she THICK! This watch looks from some angles like its fighting to get away from my wrist! What about you? What watch do you have a love/hate relationship with because of look or fit?

Much like my automotive interests, I gravitate towards watches from Japanese-based brands. Of course, some micro-brands and homages sneak in too.

I have a similar relationship with my Direnzo Aerolite, namely I both love and hate this bracelet. Something about it makes it look insect like, and I just can’t shake that feel 🪳
I feel the exact same way about the exact same watch that I own. The dual crown, bezel, hands, dial. All a pleasure to look at head on. But it’s just SO THICK that it pulls you out of it

There is something very "segmented" about it.
I try not to look at my thicker watches. Out of sight out of mind 😉

Ha! I was looking pick up that very Aerolite in the upcoming restock. I didn’t realize it came with an alter ego.
I love 90% of that chrono, but I could not stand the date window. It's useless and it looks like a square hole. I sold it.
It is placed in a weird spot!
