Bracelet restoration complete 😁

I am absolutely delighted to have received my president bracelet back today from the true gent that is Martins Veinbergz of “Swiss refurb”. I am so impressed with not only the work completed but the excellent customer service, progress updates and and time taken to explain the process. My 32 yr old Daydate looks weeks out of the factory and I couldn’t be happier. Martins has workshops in the U.K. and EU. If anyone is considering a bracelet refurb I highly reccomend.

That's impressive, I'll have to go find a YouTube video of how it's done.

Looks new, congratulations 👏🏻

Thank you! They have to drill out all the existing pins, build up every link with new gold including all the hollow tubes, lots of lazering. It’s a highly skilled job. Martins promises full refurb, nothing replaced only gold added. If you are on Instagram check out ‘Swiss Reurb’

Fantastic work, looks great

Wow, looks like he did an awesome job. Would I be out of line to ask approximate cost and how long the process took?

·

Wow that looks great. You must have worn this watch a lot. If you don’t mind, how much do they charge?

·

Oh wow!! Expensive but worth it! Glad you are happy with it.

Do they provide a guarantee for their work?

·

You have made justifying a vintage day date so much easier lol

Hi - expensive but worth it. £2,200….however a new bracelet from Rolex is £10,000+ and they want to keep your old one 😳. I urge you to check out the process on Martins insta page and you will understand what it entails and hence the cost. I was questioning the price but before sending my bracelet had a 20 min discussion on the phone with Martins and I was sold. Also if you look to the market the price of a DD with perfect bracelet vs others is often a larger price differential than this so can factor that in too…that’s what I did. I only had the watch 3 weeks before sending. I bought with the intention to get the bracelet done as case, bezel and timekeeping all excellent. Original box, papers and Rolex service card but the price reflected the wear on the bracelet IMO. I was also trading in and they offered me a fair price which factored. The bracelet was with Martins just over 4 weeks.
