It’s not that they aren’t compatible with the Tank Solar Beat but I assume that after a lot of tests there were too many accidents outside the acceptable scope defined by Cartier so they decided not to offer other strap options to prevent too many CS complaints. Usually there are a lot of R&D that goes into these new product launches so if it is not available, i would be very careful.
It also depends on the alloy, the ratio of some of its component will prevent the patina from developping a green color such as the Cusn8. (That can be found im CW watches as well as tudor etc)
The Rotonde collection is iconic and the high horology Cartier watches are simply stunning. I would go for the Cartier!
