I love the old Kings not sure about the patina. Doesn't look like normal water damage. Almost wonder if a previous owner was a very heavy smoker. As long as the movement is running well & you like it, that is all that matters!😎

Warning smoking damages your Seiko
At some point there is a line where patina becomes damage. I think this has crossed that line. But as others have said, if you like it then don’t let internet strangers deter you.
