Tudor Ranger toughness
Hi all,
I love the the tudor ranger 2022 regardless of the criticism it got its positioned in genre of a tool watch, a 100 meter WR, screw down and legible indices, my question is there a special thing regardless of the toolish style that make it tougher than BB36/39 or even tudor Royal despite sporty/formal style its still 100M WR.

I love my Ranger. The no-nonsense style makes it a perfect watch.
It got hammered by the "I must state my forever opinion now!" phenomenon that SM has engendered, but it or the 1926 are the only Tudor watches that interest me.
I don’t think there’s a specific Shock resistance or other sort of ‘toughness improvement’ over the BB lines. I can say I’ve certainly not babied mine and it’s still very accurate and handsome, though there’s some scratches on the bracelet.
Maybe there’s something there but I don’t think so.
As for the notion it’s ’hated On’ or whatever, I think that’s a bit silly. It’s not for everybody, but it’s for me. The BB36/39 is also a beautiful watch though I see it as a bit dressier and the Ranger aesthetic feels a bit more ‘blue jeans and black tee’ which is my usual fashion choice. Oh and the bracelet is perfect.
I think it just comes down to brushed vs polished finishing on the watches. The brushed finish on the Ranger should hold up better against minor scratches.
I'm a big fan of my BB58 and Pelagos 39.

This is exactly what i thought about if there is a shock resistance thing.
