Industry & leisure in harmonious conflict

Industry and leisure in harmonious conflict - I truly find the design of this watch to be lightning in a bottle.

The perfect GADA. The perfect sports watch. The perfect dress watch.

This is perhaps the most perfect watch, in some ways.

It’s also apparently the first sports watch and first pilot’s watch.

And it’s gorgeous. And Cartier doesn’t limit supply. And you can size the bracelet and change the strap without tools! And the bracelet itself is to die for (of course - it’s Cartier after all).

This watch ought to be in a museum for its iconic design, deep beauty, historical & horological significance, and even its form fits function utilitarian quality of life features.

It ought to be in a museum, and, moreover, it ought to be on my wrist.

Pretty much has everything, I'll have one one day 😍👍🏻

I can't see myself wearing that watch for my lifestyle, extremely "thrifty" semi-retiree, but it looks great on your wrist.

If I had more free time, I would be spending more of this watch money on the fantastic travels you are embarking on. But watches are something I can appreciate while strapped to my desk - as I am still in the “pre-retirement” phase of my life, we’ll call it.
