Good morning, WatchCrunch family, What I’m wearing today is a Lacz Denton Quartz Watch. This watch caught my eye because of its elegant green band and the subtle green accents on the dial. Green is my favorite color, so that was a big draw.

When I first received the watch in the mail, I was surprised by its size. I ended up giving it to my wife initially. But one day, when I was putting together an outfit with a nice green shirt, I tried the watch on myself. Surprisingly, it looked fantastic on my wrist, as you can see in the picture from that day. This experience has opened up a whole new perspective on timepieces for me. I’ve discovered that smaller watches can still make a bold statement, even on a larger wrist. It’s interesting to note that Muhammad Ali, the world champion, used to wear smaller watches. Seeing that even a man of his stature embraced smaller timepieces inspired me to do the same.

Moreover, this watch reminds me of the Stoic belief of looking closer at your gifts. Sometimes, the things we initially overlook or consider small can bring unexpected joy and insight. Today, I’m enjoying the unique charm and style of this smaller watch—it’s honestly changing my view on what makes a great timepiece.

Cool watch. I’m thinking Ali could wear any watch he wanted. I miss him
