Got my first G-Shock from my dear wife at Christmas and as much as I have enjoyed wearing and using it, the functions of the four pushers are practically illegible to my 60-something-yrs-old eyes in dim light.

So I tried filling in the letters with a wax tire marker - quite unsatisfactory, as it didn’t last.

What I wanted was paint, and a Sharpie white paint stick that was lying in my shop seems to have done the trick. Permanent (I hope) and very legible.

Casio, take note.

If you are going to try this, be aware that a paint stick is a blunt instrument, so have some methyl hydrate (methanol) on a cloth handy to wipe off the excess. It takes some fiddling.
