Old solar watch

While waiting for a good sale on a G-Shock (probably) as my next tool watch, I dipped once again into my son’t collection of ignored watches and came up with this Bijoux Terner (a cheap fashion brand) solar digital with a dead battery that he thinks he got while in high school (He's now 33). Brought back to life with a new battery, I was trying to figure out how to set the various functions when the plastic strap broke into pieces while being bent.

The odds of finding a strap to fit the 34mm lug width is slim, so the watch probably goes into the pile of electronic junk, unless someone can point me toward a new strap.
