To mod, or not to mod?

I’ve seen in the last few days some really interesting and nice modes of Seiko’s and Casio’s. As I have a Casio Royale, I really want to mod it but I don’t know from where to get the parts for it as I already have the tools necessary. Do you guys have experience with modding? If yes, please share some examples.

Okay so it depends on what kind of mod your going for. If you are trying to replace the polarized film it’s extremely hard to source but I found some here. Only the blue, red, grey, and purple are actually polarized film from this source. This will allow you to achieve a powerful color change in positive or negative versions.

Now

If you just looking to do color sheets over your positive display then you can grab these. Selens 20 Pieces Universal Gels... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GQXG45W?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Some of the lighter colors translate well but the darker colors in the pack will be to dark in my opinion.

And of course you also can go the route of https://www.skxmod.com/products/matter-version-modding-kits-for-ae-1200-1300-ws-1600-series

Where you can upgrade the case, bracket, and sapphire crystal but it’s a 5-7x price difference for the cost of unit. So you can also get other version of the AE1200 and 1300 from Amazon if you want to mix and match parts to have a custom look.

You can look at these posts I recently did for some references.

Hope this helps you out. 😉

Check out Vario's leather straps for the Royale. I waited too long before I picked one up, they are great.
