Caught a fun character choice in Netflix's "Ripley."

After a... misadventure on a boat, Tom makes sure to keep an eye of his good friend Dickie's belongings, among them what appears to be a Rolex Precision with small seconds.

It's a cool (if not a little obvious) choice to illustrate Dickie's class status, a simple but well-made timepiece (and as we've discussed here, not the immediately flashy status symbol it is today.)

I especially love that i’m not likely to see anyone with the same one , but also the style is very classic but different then the modern explorer types Just never gets old .
