Thoughts on IWC Mark XX?

Any owners here of the mark 20? What are the things you dont like about this? Thinking of pulling the trigger on this one because i like the upgrades: increased water resistance, power reserve and smaller case (lug to lug). Currently looking for an everyday/ semi- dress watch.

Only thing id change is the lume as it’s only at the 3,6,9 and top arrow. But other than that I have no other complaints and I wear it daily! It’s slim at 10.8mm, love the easxchange strap system, the most legible dial I’ve ever owne can’t go wrong with a mark xx.

Also have been pondering this one. Generally seems to get rave reviews.

Happy owner of an older (Mark XV) version of this without the very useful upgrades … and I find it to be a fantastic daily wearer that dresses up and down quite nicely!

Buy it on the bracelet, because it's amazing - and get the strap later. Use a watch accuracy app to check how it's running - that's how I avoided buying one that was running plus 20 spd. (Mine is plus 1 spd in the box, minus 2 to 3 spd on the wrist.) Actually I wrote a full post on this. If you search up IWC you'll find it quickly.

It's a stunner! I hold up mine next to my wife's blue datejust and IWC wins, no doubt 🙌

I’ve been a fan of the IWC Mark series for a long time. I’ve struggled though with the placement of the date window. It never seems to perfectly align with the circumference of the other indicators. That said, the Mark XX is nearly perfect and the Mark XV is even better.
