Finishing fun

A mix of macro and high resolution let me get in real close on this beautifully finished Breguet. The “Swiss Guilloche Main” is not normally legible w...

makes sense. That's like getting your favorite shoes in two colors. Can't go wrong

Ha, that's great about the "SKX" type watches. I could see getting variations on that as well.

Can't have enough Speedmasters! Especially when they are different variations. I've had four in total, but am back down to one currently.

Sorry if these have already been suggested: Sartory Billard, Laine, Tourby, Garrick, Holthinrich, Lundis Bleus

I have an earlier version of this watch. They came out with the first run 3 years ago. It’s perfectly sized and wears very well. They had the new  ones at Windup Watch Fair and they look great too

Congrats on picking one up! I really think everyone who landed one will be very happy with it. The final is actually nicer than the prototype I had seen when first writing it up (the photo is the production model). The finishing is better and the chime is louder. But, in terms of experience, from the aesthetic, to the layout, to the hourly chime - it's just not like other watches I've owned (or can own).

There’s something about the Porsche Design Orfinas that just really works for me. Good size, clean design, aggressive but understated. I ended up with...

A unique experience

Technical achievements aside, part of what is so great about the C1 Bel Canto is simply that it provides a different experience from the normal sport...

Landed a bit of a grail recently

This is a nearly NOS Porsche Orfina 7177 in Green PVD - hard to find in general, nearly impossible in great condition. Lucked out
