I like things simple like "10 past", "quarter of" and all that "o'clock" kinda stuff.

That's all the time management my life requires. I like to tell time at a glance without worrying where the hell the sun and the moon are.

I've known of Yes watches for years and always (since Tim Temple hawked them on TV) and always thought that they should be called TMI watches.

This is another watch I'm putting on my list of watches I want. First one that is not an automatic. Amazing piece.

Depends what you want I guess.

Albeit brilliant in its simplicity, the “10 past” represents a very basic understanding of time. There is so much more to the art and science of horology.

Have you noticed what the elite of mechanical watch makers reach for when they try their hardest in creating excellence?

Yup, you guessed it, capturing the natural cycles of the sun and the moon.

Why? Because they know that this is where the essence of time begins, where the core lies.

They took Bin Laden out on the darkest of a new moon night. It wasn’t the generals who decided when, it was the moon. If JFK junior had left an hour earlier there would have been no crash.

Natural time cycles plays into just about every aspect of life. To me, ignoring them is like writing a book using only half the alphabet. I’d rather be in the know.

But for sure, it does get esoteric.🍻

As the owner of Casio's Cosmo Phase, this is certainly on my wish list down the road when it falls within my budget.
