Just unboxed a Столичные (Stolichnie) vintage russian watch.
It seems very old, a bit dingy, but the dial is in quite good condition. And it works fine (so far).
I love these grandpa style watches...

Love the dial! Nice piece, my friend...
Ahem, if it says CCCP on the dial, it's technically Soviet. The commies built watches to last.
Can anyone decipher the rest of the Cryillic text on the dial?

It was 30+ years ago when I last learned russian, but with a little google help:
17 камней = 17 stones
1 мчз им. кирова = Первый московский часовой завод им. кирова= the first Moskow watch factory in Kirov
сделано в ссср = Made in CCCP
