My comment is not intended to be critical. I'm sincerely wondering. The real Casio AE1200 is around $25. I've actually seen this SKMEI being sold for more than that. So why buy the homage when you can get the real thing at, near, or below the homage price? In this case homage makes no sense to me?

Theyโre both cheap inexpensive watchesโ paid $14 with shipping and by the way this is NOT the Casio Royale AE1200 which is sold at Walmart for $20 โ-This the knock off of the Casio A500W which is $50 in gold color and metal bracelet where I live right now (Mexico) . Amazon has it for $40 in black but not gold.
Following cartographic convention and making land green is a nice touch.
Oscar that green world map changes to two shades of green and black highlights of different parts of the world indifferently to the time zone or time... like random... ๐๐ Hilarious.
Ah! Got it. The gold does look very cool on this too.
and to blow your mind the module used in the SKMEI I got, is actually made by Seiko... I know ... I know.. crazy. I do my homework even on $14 watches.. The SKMEI has a metal bracelet. I do own the real Casio Royale too .. all plastic - Love it. In fact I'll wear it tomorrow.
The Sanda version is ยฃ10.99 (so the same as the Skmei) but instead of the animation at the top, the appropriate region of the map is highlighted during the world time selection.
The Sanda has a rougher looking finish compared to the Skmei though. Both are much better than paying $49 or more for a gold-plated plastic Casio at this point.
I ordered a Sanda Cartier square watch for a friend as a gift - Iโll check out your Sanda Casio homage recommendation. The SKMEI module is made by Seiko from research. Iโll check out the Sanda . Thank you.

Well, Rick James was an original, so I think your choice of watch brand should reflect that too..๐
