Just curious, did it enter the USA through Chicago? Everything I order that goes through Chicago customs always takes substantially longer than any other port of entry.

I hate customs hell! Had a watch stuck there for 2 weeks till day b4 yesterday

Went to pick up but receiving place yesterday .. but it was closed! - I’ve got to wait till next week when I get a break from work! Ug!

BTW: I thought SU watch was coming in customs free? No duty no shipping cost? It’s under the limit, why customs? I got email from studio underdog saying it’s no customs charges

Ya it’s duty free. But SU filled out the customs form wrong. They put their total cost (including their taxes I’m assuming). The watch clock breakdown didn’t match their invoice so it got stuck there until the numbers matched

Oh dang! Did they get notified of their mistakes? I'll email them if you haven't.

Hopefully not a problem when they ship mine in a month or 2!

I have a Marathon stuck in customs because of a most stupid reason. I bought it directly from Marathon who shipped it without me having to pay the import taxes. But Marathon stuck in a beanie hat for free and customs is having a fit about how to deal with a gift item. They need to assign it a value (artificial, of course) to satisfy their burocracy and the guy who needs to resolve it is away until later this week so it spent the whole holiday season in customs.

Wow. Thats frustrating. Did the shipping service ask you for a breakdown of the watch too?

I think it was over the Christmas weekend it probably got lost in limbo. I was able to get it cleared

And I’m sitting here, waiting for my Uncle bracelet to get the release papers from customs-prison 😑

They had all the info for my order too. But it took a week for them to finally tell me that the total for the watch clock break down didn’t match the total reported value.

2 weeks? I once had a casioak stuck at customs for 2 months!
