Unknown Brand?!

Hi together,

I am a crunch rookie ✌️

I purchased 3 watches from a small and old watch dealer in Portugal. But I couldn’t find online anything about the brand. If anyone of you knows more than me please share your knowledge with me :)

Thank you

Your right, there's nothing I could find as well. I've seen a few on the selling sites, so my guess a small company or even a shop that had them made for them many years ago. If you can get the backs off the watches and have a look at the movement and do a bit of research on those, might give you more of an idea. They don't even say Swiss made, so I do think maybe a shop made them, bought the components in and either assembled them themselves or got a local company to do it for them (the origonal microbrands). There is a modern Adamo company but that just looks like fashion watches from the far east, they sell sunglasses etc as well. Sorry can't be any more help, but nice looking watches.

Hi @Stricko thanks for your research.

I found the watches on the island of Madeira 10 steps away from a Rolex boutique. The shop was in the past once a very fine boutique but aged very badly over the years. Funny wise they had a bunch of watches he couldn’t remember the age because his dad bought them in Switzerland as he still was a child. He supposed the wachstes are vom sixties early seventies.

I asked for paperwork/ advertisement but he had nothing anymore.

I am asking my self still if the Geneva is a mark for the production location or just a marketing. Because the watches are not bad made.

What would your aspect to pay for one of those?

Of course the bracelet are not the original ones.

PS: I will try to Open the Caseback to show the Movement.

1st apologies for not getting back to you sooner. Ok first off Geneve is just for marketing, its not saying Swiss made just using the place name as a marketing tool. Right I hope your sitting down...the number on the movement 2164.2H I've googled it and it's definitely early 70s but here's the revelation it's RUSSIAN!!! It's a Poljot which was a suprise to me, decent movement but unfortunately not worth a great deal.

So although not Swiss still pretty cool(as are all vintage watches) really reinforces my belief that these were commissioned by a shop. Still nice though, although not valuable money wise. Hope you enjoy wearing them,as I've enjoyed and learnt something doing research. Cheers.

Oh as for value, I'm not an expert but looking at similar style of watches on ebay maybe £40 to £60 each, but your at a buyers whim(that's what I would be prepared to pay)

@Stricko no trouble at all. Thanks a lot for your effort to find out more about this watches.

I was not expecting much. I don’t mind the poljiot movement. I am actually surprised how good they are for this age at this price point and I was looking for (in my opinion) one good looking watch witch cost not a fortune. So I found at the end three NOS Vintage watches witch I connect with my holiday and now I enjoy them at home.

I probably in Berlin i am the only one with this brand … I think that’s pretty cool.

I paid around about 35 Euro for one watch. I would say the price is alright for a unique NOS Watch.

Thanks again for your support 💪🙏
