Omega 2541 or Rolex 16610

I have an Omega 2551 and a Tudor Black Bay 41. I either want to continue my James Bond Omega collection or skil it and go straight to the Rolex. Thoughts?

My thought..stay away from Rolex until they get there head out of there ass...AD's also. In the old dasys i could walk in and buy one with a small discount now Im supposted to buy my wife some 10k bobble then I might be considered..so I say the heck with them. My Omegas are excellent watches ..JMO

No, it wasnt always like this. I actually blame all the flexing on social media..Actors/musicians flashing there Rolex's. Heck ask 10 people on the street to name a mechanical watch brand and I'll bet 75% or more will rattle off Rolex because that is the only one they know ..Little do they know there are so many better watches out there. No reason to pay over MSRP or to get on a list to spend your hard earned money..Just an old mans opinion ..

I would get to know a Rolex AD and put your name on the list for the Sub you want Date/No Date. Keep in contact = stop by and bug/chat it up the AD. Also text periodically. The wait will be long. The watch is iconic and beautifully well made. Eventually the call will happen
