When I first read about Neil Armstrong's personal watch going up for auction in 2019 I immediately got online to try and find one to add to my collection and my watches tied to space. It's by a French company named Douglas from the 1960s-1970s. It's 36mm, has a world time bezel, manual wind, large numerals, and a cyclops under the acrylic crystal.
Douglas' parent company Wolbrook was revived a few years ago and they made a modern version of this, but the original is just so much cooler in my opinion. And Neil Armstrong didn't wear the new one 😂.

I would get the acrylic polish 🧐
Very cool 👍👍🚀

I've thought about it. It actually looks kind of cool and doesn't affect the legibility too much so I keep flip-flopping on whether I want to or not.

IMO, the watch is interesting enough and polishing the glass won't change that. It'll get scratched again soon enough 😂
