NWA 🚨: Rolex Oyster Perpetual 36mm (Candy Pink)
Have had no luck with the Oyster Perpetual 36mm Turquoise Blue (a.k.a. Tiffany OP) after having been on the waitlist for over 2 years.
Got the call from my AD on Friday saying the Candy Pink OP arrived their shop and asked whether I would like to purchase it, while I could continue to be on the waitlist for the Tiffany OP. The AD however said that they are uncertain as to when the Tiffany OP would come along (or whether it would ever come along again). It also sounded as though these colourful OPs would be discontinued next year. As such, I have purchased this piece (1) as a gift for my wife (well - happy wife, happy life); and (2) in anticipation of such potential discontinuation.
Would you guys have turned down the opportunity to purchase this piece? Considering this shall have no adverse impact on my waitlist position for the Tiffany OP.

Nice pick up. I’d have taken it too. I’m currently on the list for the green OP having previously missed out on the yellow.
I would have turned it down. My wife doesn't like or wear watches and the pink 36 does nothing for me. I understand why you bought it though. Hope the wife enjoys!

It was more of a hint rather than an explicit indication. Might just be their way to convince me to go ahead with my purchase.
