True GMT vs. Office GMT?

What is your favorite implementation of the Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) watch - True/Traveler's GMT OR Office GMT? See this article for a thorough discussion on the specifics and the strengths/weaknesses of each watch: https://www.ablogtowatch.com/do-you-need-gmt-watch/ Simply stated: True/Traveler's GMT GMT movements that allow the local time display to be quickly adjusted are typically referred to as “traveler’s GMT” watches. On a traveler’s GMT, the main 12-hour hand can be jumped forward or backward in 1-hour increments, usually via the crown pulled out one click. Office GMT As the nickname suggests, these watches tend to be more convenient for wearers that stay in one place. Although they look the same from the dial side, the operation of adjusting the time is quite different from the traveler’s GMT. On the office GMT, the 24-hour hand is the one that is jumped in one-hour increments. Typically, the 24-hour hand can only be adjusted forward, but this means that these movements retain the ability to quickset the date by turning the crown in the other direction.

I own versions of both as I used to travel a lot for work.

My favorite is acutally the Seiko/Citizen GPS models that automatically chage to the new time zone when you arrive at your destination.  Another cool feature on these is the flip feature which flips your home time with the second time zone instantly with the push of a button.  Handy when you travel back and forth between the two same time zones- in my case New York and LA.

I don't yet own a traveler's GMT... but I'm VERY excited for the inevitable influx of true GMTs using the Miyota 9075.

Specifically, I'm looking forward to the upcoming Jack Mason. It seems there is a high chance they will be one of, if not, the first microbrand to use this movement. Their designer is here on WC and has been sharing some details.
