I have been collecting watches for at least a decade. It is amazing how quickly things have changed in this timeframe. Like many here, I wish I would have done a few things differently like buying a Rolex Hulk when dealers could not move them. Oh well... Nobody predicted the market today.
I write a blog at https://watchhunter.org that is a personal record of my horological thoughts and adventures. I cover a lot of Victorinox Swiss Army watches there because nobody else was. I currently don't collect them as I have all the good ones. I store a library of Seiko catalogs for reference on the site too so please use it.
The weirdest watches that I collect are Seikos incredibly cool SLQ Sportura Kinetic Chronos made in the 2000s. They were made for racing but look like a sci-fi watch from a feature film or Japanese anime. I think they are as cool as anything made today... think crazy industrial design like an Urwerk... just Japanified.
