Tokyo. Any tips?

I’m visiting Tokyo next week for work. Anyone got any tips for interesting boutiques, shops or dealers, or even better - any unique Japanese brands that are doing interesting things?

Check out Grand Seikos boutique in Ginza, they have some cool historical pieces, create your own Grand Seiko and even models specific to that store.

The seiko muesem right around the corner is also a must visit. Do not miss that, I would recommend the muesem over any other shop.

Kurono Tokyo has a boutique in Tokyo, im sure you would see some unique stuff there. I personally didn’t check it out as I was waiting on delivery of one of their watches and wanted the first time I see the watch to be upon delivery.

They also have brand shops there which resell bags and watches. It’s mostly Rolex and the other big luxury brands for sale but if that’s what you’re into, it’s a good place to go. One last tip, they sometimes refer to preowned watches as antiques.

Best of luck and enjoy Tokyo!
