Hey, saw your comment on yesterday’s WRUW but it won’t let me reply, keeps taking me to  today’s thread lol. I don’t have experience with Uncle Seiko but I do have the Forstner Flat Link (polished/brushed, not the all brushed one). I love it, I have the pre 2021 Speedmaster with that chonk of a bracelet, never liked it so got the Forstner about a year later (standard not the new contemporary one).

Pros: Light, comfy, looks great, better fit than the OEM, and IT TAPERS!

Cons: Sizing is a bear as you need to unscrew the links from both ends, at least Forstner gives you all the tools you need!

LMK if you have any other questions on it, happy to help!

I just purchased an Uncle Seiko US1479 3861 style bracelet and my biggest disappointment with it was it wouldn't fit the Dan Henry 1962 I purchased it for (I realize this was me trying something it wasn't intended for) but it did end up fitting my Snowflake (not perfectly at the end link but it just works!). As for the bracelet itself, it feels perfectly vintage, with an excellent balance between flexible jangly-ness and rock solid engineering.

As for the man himself, an absolute class act. I purchased his tropic straps a while back and he ended up sending the wrong size (which was 20mm when I was looking for 19), he sent me the correct size along with custom spring bars (the fat boy with the smaller pins) for a better fit and it was perfect!

I even mentioned he could open up a whole new avenue if he offered straight end links as an aftermarket option for his bracelets, which he responded favorably and I reeeeeeally hope I can see that soon.
