Why I just buy luxury watches from AD!

If this can happen to celeb with money to burn like Adam Levine, I am not going to risk my few thousands ๐Ÿ™ƒ

There is a difference between "fake" and "replacement". For all we know he was told about replacement parts when buying this watch.

I'm not into vintage, and anything I buy is nearly new unworn or slightly used. So I don't have an issue buying from a reputable grey market dealer.

The take of a weary watcher of YouTube sales videos presented as information videos...

Itโ€™s a scare tactic by a watch retailer to get people to use select watch retailers, preferably him. I like his videos and he seems like a good guy, but this โ€œPSAโ€ is just another marketing techniqe (establish fear, honest presenter is here to save you from evils of the world) by someone who uses his YouTube channel to enhance his business.

Watch advice from a watch salesman should always be suspect. They whine about watches with repairs using factory parts but have this nice watch they are selling. Rolex will replace parts on an older watch with new updated parts if you sent it in damaging its authenticity to these guys.
