Watchmaxx - Reputable Gray Market Dealer?

I recently purchased a new, Speedmaster Professional from Watchmaxx and want to let fellow crunchers know my experience. The shipping was very delayed from their "third party supplier" to Ebay verification and I had to bug them to get it moving, but eventually they shipped and Ebay verified it in one day. Upon receipt, I checked everything and the watch was as advertised including all packaging as supplied by Omega. Unfortunately, the "card wallet" with he Pictogram, METAS certification and warranty cards were not included... I did not expect the warranty card as gray market warranty is only thru Watchmaxx, but the other cards should have been included. I contacted Watchmaxx and they said the cards should have been included and they would "check with their dealer". That was my first clue that Watchmaxx is a third party reseller and does not stock or have watches on hand (at least this Omega). After weeks of promises that they "would look for the cards", I gave up and left them negative feedback on Ebay. I am happy with the watch and the price, but not with their communication and service after the sale. I am a very experienced watch buyer and have used Jomashop and Authentic Watches in the past for purchases with 100% success. Not so with Watchmaxx. "Caveat Emptor"

Never nice to not get something included in the description, it always leaves a lingering doubt over just who you're dealing with.

I'm crossing them off my list. Way too many choices to put up with such shoddy service.

I agree. I tried to work with them, but they just blew me off and treated me like I was bothering them. The woman I was emailing with thru Ebay couldn't even spell "watch" much less communicate on a respectfull level. She kept asking me to "search again in the box", when I had sent them an unboxing video that showed ALL of the contents. I was so upset with these idiots that I had to go out and order a custom, shell cordovan strap to ease my pain...
