In love with the case shape, crystal distortion and radial brushing on the bezel. I have not handled an original 1969 A384 but I understand this is a pretty faithful recreation.

It's a sweet one too!
The white dial on black strap is my grail watch. I will never be able to afford it so I might get one of these instead.
Never say never!

never say never indeed
The case shape is fantastic - both aesthetically and in terms of the wearing experience. Weirdly, I can't think of any similar examples of this mixed tonneau/no bezel/angular lugs combo (which seems odd given how much watch design language relies on copying iconic shapes and styles). Any notable examples of this design cropping up elsewhere?

Yes it's fantastic and super comfortable. Feels larger than 37 which I like for my wrist. Most similar I can think of are some of the military style watches though they don't appear to have quite the angled lugs of these Zeniths.
